The Starz girls had a fantastic season at the WLJNL season 21/22 in which saw us win the U11, U12 and U13 divisions. In total we entered 2x U10, 2 x U11, 2 x U12, 2 x U13 and 1x U14 in the league which was played out of the Ealing league venue on Sunday mornings throughout the school calendar year.
In the U11 age group (Bee Netball) our Silver team were crowned champions winning 17 out of 18 fixtures and scoring an impressive 222 goals long the way. The Pink team finished in 3rd winning 15 of 18 games scoring even more goals than Silver with 304 goals. The Blue team came in 5th place and the white being the youngest in competition came in an impressive 8th in their first season together.
Into the 7s netball saw our U12 Pink (Invincible's!) dominate throughout like they have done for the past 3 seasons as a team and win the U12 division winning 9 out of 9 games scoring 313 goals along the way with many of the girls rotating position throughout season. These girls are yet to lose a competitive game of any kind in London!! Our U12 Blue had an amazing season in U12 division finishing 3rd in the league and considering many of these girls were playing a year up its fantastic to see them have a wonderful season which helped them in their preparation for national competition.
Our U13 Pink were also Invincible winning every match in the season finishing with 12 wins out of win with an impressive defensive record of 68 conceded in 12 meaning an average of only 5 goals conceded in every game which is some record! The blue team finished in 3rd out of 13 teams narrowly missing out on 2nd by 1 victory. Both sets of girls have had an amazing season coupled with great national knockout campaigns and look forward to next season with the new additions to the squad.
U14 girls had a strong season finishing 3rd in the league with a 2 of the squad making it in London Pulse Hub early in the season. Were hoping to support this team with a rebuild as some players can not commit next season so we are looking for new players to join this squad!
